Our 2026 Theme - Chainbreaker Psalm 107

River of Life is a 5-day mission project hosted by Wynnton Methodist Church where completed 6th grade - 12th grade students come to be the hands and feet of Christ. There are currently 20 plus churches that are a part of our River of Life family that have attended a ROL event over the past 4 years. This year we have churches from Alabama, California, Georgia, and Texas participating.

All of these churches come together to assist local homeowners right here in the Midtown area with small repair and improvement projects. Minor construction, painting, wheelchair ramps and landscaping are just a few of the items on the list. Their goal is to assist the homeowners who cannot physically or financially afford to renovate their homes. 

 

This year we are expecting a little more than 200 participants and our goal is to improve 30 properties in the Midtown area. We hope this will ignite a passion in these youth to serve others back home in their communities and we are excited about the huge impact this mission will continue to have in our own community.

Wynnton Methodist Church is proud to reside in and support the Midtown area. We are partnering with Wynnton Neighborhood Housing, a non-profit organization that improves the quality of life through the elimination of substandard housing in the East Wynnton Neighborhood."
